The objectives

  • Enable cameras around the UK to stream images to website users
  • To provide full technical support for all locations

The answer

  • Provide full consultancy for each location taking many aspects different into account for each different location
  • Source, purchase, and arrange delivery for all equipment needed for each installation
  • Arrange for each camera to be installed and connected, and provide knowledge and expertise throughout the installation process

The result

  • We continue to provide ITV with ongoing consultancy for their new streaming installations. In addition, we will provide full support, supply of technical equipment and location reports for all ITV Local's new locations to be added throughout 2007 and 2008.

The Client

ITV Local is a regionally based website operated by ITV PLC, Britain's defininitive commercial broadcaster. For more than 50 years it has remained the UK's largest and most popular commercial broadcaster. Today ITV is a multi-channel, multi-platform, content-driven business, firmly focussed on the needs of viewers and advertisers.


What We Did: The Short Answer

ITV Local required several cameras to be set up at various locations around the country, to be streamed to viewers through their website. We provide consultancy for each location, arrange for the cameras to be installed, and provide full technical support for all locations.
