Bespoke camera network including encoders and data infrastructure to film and transmit live daily observations from the nations key towns and cities – plus live coverage of topical live events such as Cowes Week.
Client Brief:
ITV wanted to support their local programmes with live footage from their ITV regions. They needed to cover key cities and towns day and night from permanent camera sites. They also wanted to observe major events as they occur. Atelier researched proposed sites, liaised with site owners and dealt with all the logistics of fixing, power etc. High quality digital cameras were required, together with housing – for light control, protection and health and safety. Data from the cameras needed to be encoded and transmitted via a feed back to ITV.
