Favourite Pet:
Without a doubt Brogan, my black-and-white cat. Perhaps the least-agile cat around he’s known for his clumsiness – one time he attempted to climb a tree, hit his head on a branch and was left hanging from it by his front claws – but where he falls short in typical cat-behaviour he makes up for in affection. He was rescued from a Cyprus shelter three years ago and has become a permanent member of the household.
About me:
I’m the guy who judges a book by its cover; I’ve always loved design and care more about how something looks than perhaps I should at times. A sucker for well-designed packaging, advertising and the like, I enjoy almost all aspects of the design world – from interior and product design through to online and mobile. I’m also interested in marketing and the relevant psychology, as well as online interactions through communities or social media. A primary user of Adobe Photoshop, I also have experience in Illustrator, In Design and Dreamweaver (HTML/CSS/jQuery). I also like to keep my offline skills in check and complete a variety of personal ink illustrations.
Hobbies/interest:
I really enjoy films, both on the big screen and small. I also love music, my tastes are pretty eclectic but I predominantly listen to ambient electronica, dubstep or rap. I co-own an active online community in my spare time which now has over 16,800 members, and enjoy seeing that develop as a living thing. I’m quite into PC gaming as well, though not exclusively – good old split-screen multiplayer on Mario Kart 64 and GoldenEye still has a place in my heart. I enjoy visiting bars and pubs in Brighton and London to see live music and meet new people, it’s always interesting to talk to someone new and hear about their experiences. I also enjoy well-executed street art, which inspires me through its creative use of composition, shape and often typography. All in all I’m pretty much a geek who likes shiny things and meeting new people.
